BOOTH APPLICATION FAQ/GUIDE FOR PARTICIPANTS

Forms: Please print and fill out the booth application form and mail with the booth fee. The deadline for submission of this form is June 1, 2008. Early submission is highly recommended to secure a space.

Booths: Please note that all booths and activities are to be consistent with the theme of Japanese culture. Booth space is limited.  The registration fee is not refundable after June 1, 2008.

Participants must provide their own booth, chairs, tables, electrical cords and booth garbage containers. JCF supplies the space and a large dumpster at the end of the day. All participants must have final approval by the JCF Executive committee. 

Fees: Booth fee is $150 for each 10' x 12' space and $10 for electricity. Electricity is available on a limited, first come, first served basis. Arrangements for electricity must be made and approved in advance and must be noted in the booth application. Please bring your own extension cords - at least 100 feet. The $10 charge for electricity is payable with the application fee.

An assessment of 10% of the day's revenue (gross receipts) will be collected from all participating individuals, groups, organizations and businesses. Any discrepancy between the receipts and the 10% will result in denial of the right to participate in future Fairs. This assessment is due and payable at the close of the Fair (by 6 p.m.) at the JCF Information booth. 

Raffle Donation: Each participant will be expected to donate an item for the raffle conducted during the Fair. Please bring this item to the JCF Information Booth upon arrival.

Hours and Setup: Fair hours are 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Booths may be set up as early as 8:00 a.m. on the day of the Fair. After setting up all vehicles must be moved from the Mission Plaza Park (by 11 a.m.) There is parking available across Mission Street. We request that booths remain set up until the close of the Fair at 6 p.m. Materials cannot be left overnight.
